These neighborhoods share a very convenient location, a quiet, well-developed area just off Mountain View, near State of Franklin and I-26, but not too near. Typically, depending on their specific needs, buyers want to see what’s available in all of them.
A large traditional colonial with five bedrooms and four bathrooms for $300,000 is my new listing in the neighborhood. It has great light and a flexible plan with a master on each level. There's more information about 3305 BONDWOOD CIRCLE, in BRIARWOOD, on my website.
Others on the market in that area now are a one-level contemporary, a couple of other colonials not quite as “classic” as this one but with good features, and a Tudor with four bedrooms, 2.5 baths. There also a very large, dramatic contemporary on a beautiful lot - more expensive than most in the neighborhood but significantly different. I know of a couple of others that may be coming on the market soon – one is a large Victorian.
Because these are SUCH DESIRABLE NEIGHBORHOODS, people typically stay until there’s a special need that sends them elsewhere – relocation, down-sizing, etc. Neighbors see Towne Acres Elementary as one of the desirable things that drew them there. There’s a good mix of young families, retired folks, professionals. It’s a pleasant neighborhood to walk in – a good way to size up any area and a chance to meet some friendly folks.
There’s an interesting mix of home styles and sizes, usually within the range of $250,000 to $400,000, with some larger ones a good bit more expensive.
I’ve had the pleasure of marketing some of these and helping buyers with several homesin the neighborhoods and have shown just about all of them.
Having followed these subdivisions for years, I can show you a detailed picture of the market over the last few years, in case you ‘re thinking of making a move or know someone who might be interested in this area.
