I'm trying to get more attention in my favorite neighborhoods, advertise my listings there, and be economical at the same time. One strategy is having several domain names that link to pages on my main site, www.TNTriCitiesHomes.com . A sample is below, from www.Roundtree-JohnsonCity-TN.com . Much of the information at the neighborhood site is linked to parts of the main site, so there's not a lot of maintenance and certainly not a lot of expense. I've tried to add enough information other than real estate to keep the neighbors coming back, and of course the sellers tell their friends because their homes are featured.
ROUNDTREE - JOHNSON CITY TN
Please bookmark www.Roundtree-JohnsonCity-TN.com , a new site under development. I would appreciate the community's help making it more useful. I want the site to be a neighborhood service for one of the areas I especially enjoy working in. Please help me make it "ours" instead of "mine." (I don't live in Roundtree, but I can see it from my home on Sharon Drive.) Roundtree is a favorite neighborhood and thought this would be a useful way of thanking you for letting me help sell your homes and find you new neighbors.)
The most recent listing in Roundtree is 3503 Honeywood Drive, just listed. (The link is to this property as a Featured Home on Realtor.com - more pictures and details than ordinary listings get. It's a beautiful colonial with exceptional upgrades and a beautiful yard. See also the listing on www.TNTriCitiesHomes.com/Roundtree-3503Honeywood. Within a couple of weeks, it will "Google" satisfyingly. Please tell your friends. There are only a couple of others in the neighborhood now, and I try to see everything in the areas comparable to Roundtree. I have a similarly priced one in Waterbrooke and a new one in Shadowood also.
For examples of what could be done with this site, click on www.TowneAcres.com to see the pages nested there. The site could have neighborhood issues, meetings, garage sales, baby sitters, whatever you think would be useful. I can't do it alone.
If you are thinking of this as a place you might like to live, may I tell you why people enjoy living in Roundtree. They enjoy its winding tree-shaded streets and walking or driving past lovely homes and well-maintained yards. It's a wonderfully convenient location, close to Johnson City Medical Center, Quillen College of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, VA Hospital and a wide variety of specialty medical practices. The new Children's Hospital (2008) and Franklin Woods Hospital (2010) will be within ten minutes. It's close to many restaurants and shopping areas, with a new one coming soon - Hamilton Place, over 250,000 square feet of retail space on State of Franklin. Young children in Roundtree go to Towne Acres Elementary School, one of the schools people ask for most frequently, then to Indian Ridge and Science Hill High School.
(The rest of the page is straight from pages of the regular site.) Next step is a post card to the neighborhood to be sure everyone knows about the site and how they can participate. What services should I add? What have you done that would give me good ideas? Help wanted.
